I’m a long time IT engineer who has worked across many practices and disciplines in my career, with a primary focus on Microsoft-based Infrastructure solutions. At this point, I’ve got 15+ years of experience managing Microsoft-based corporate infrastructure, ranging from 10-20 user shops all the way up to 10,000+ and 100,000+ user organizations.
I’ve got deep experience managing the full Microsoft stack (minus one or two things, I suppose — nobody is perfect), including Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint, System Center Configuration Manager, and solid exposure and knowledge around almost all of the core underlying technologies that support and power the core Microsoft Infrastructure stack (e.g., DNS, DHCP, DirectAccess, MSSQL, PowerShell, and so on).
I spend a lot of time doing work that could be useful to others and should likely find its way out on to the internet, so I’ve created this simple blog in order to have a method of distributing this information. I’m open to constructive criticism and feedback, so if I’ve done something silly, by all means feel free to call me out for it (constructively!) in the comments section and I’ll be happy to discuss further.
